Stock Building Supply’s National Lock Center sales liaison between Stock’s OSR’s, sales specialists, and external customers. Generate and assist in the sales generation for new and existing customers to meet designated sales goals and ensuring the sales and delivery of our locksets, decorative hardware and related hardware products.

Job Description:
- Maintains and grows existing customer base in locksets and finish builder hardware categories through effective full scope sales management techniques; including sales development, partnering with Market Sales team members, quoting and customer follow-up to ensure sales goals are met or exceeded.
- Formulate accurate and complete project specific customer information; ranging from regular site visits, plan review and in depth customer discussions to enable correct product and product application.
- Partner with Market Sales Leaders, Sales Team Associates, Operations Team and Vendors implementing customer specific pricing to secure business and attain profit and sales goals.
- Offer full scope lockset and finish hardware services, product upgrades and extended product lines optimizing customer account penetration and customer objectives.
- Train and educate internal and external customers on locksets and finish hardware product benefits, new products, services, industry trends and effective installation.
- Coordinate and oversee National Lock Center warranty and vendor return processes, ensuring timely management of warranty issues and products as well as timely return of vendor products.
- Regular account evaluation determining revenue and profitability to balance account viability verses future time efforts.
- Update and maintain customer specific information within company systems. Ensure accurate account, customer details and contact information available to management and support teams.
- Develop, coordinate and implement full scope account plans; producing individualized account strategy to maintain, penetrate and grow customer accounts along with designated account OSR’s and Sales Specialists.
- Regularly provides market intelligence and feedback; including service level feedback, pricing, competition and industry trends to Market, Divisional and Sourcing Leadership.
- Effectively communicate with diverse levels of customers, vendors and Stock Building Supply associates.
- Maintain strong vendor and manufacturing partnerships; optimizing and leveraging Stock Building Supply’s buying volume to grow margin, market share and product line penetration.
Requirements:
- Minimum education required—Bachelors in Business Management, Marketing or related field or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum experience required—5 years sales experience in hard-lines (locksets preferred), Builder 100 segment sales and building materials supply.
- Demonstrated sales expertise, working knowledge of sales forecasting and analysis, ability to estimate from blueprints as well as strong sales and marketing skills.
- Working knowledge of accounting principles and local building codes and compliance requirements.
- MS Office and Computer literate.
